Covid 19 Health and Safety Announcement

Barnsley Bate in consideration of the health & safety of their employees and clients, are following advice from HM Government and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The RICS have been engaging extensively with the UK government and working with the residential property industry to seek clarity and identify ways to support surveyors

Updated 18th June Barnsley Bate will follow the following steps:-

The guidance outlines that no work should be carried out in a household which is isolating due to members having developed symptoms of COVID-19, or where an individual has been advised to shield.

If Barnsley Bate do need to work in clients premises, we are following guidance principles, for our staff to continue instructions to wash their hands more often, cover their mouths when they cough or sneeze, clean regularly touched objects and maintain social distance.

We will if possible also communicate with households prior to any visit to discuss how work will be carried out and minimise risk for all parties.

When and if we do enter your home or property, Barnsley Bate we will ask that where possible internal doors are left open, we will minimise movement within busy areas of the premises and limit the number of people within any confined space where we are working.
